I Love Joshua Tree, California

I went on a short get away a couple of weekends ago. My friend and I rented a house in Joshua Tree. It was a quiet retreat where we hunkered down to work on writing, projects, thinking, and exploring.

Normally I camp at Joshua Tree National Park and go rock climbing. I have always wondered what it would be like to live in one of the houses just outside the park. Now I have a sense of the rustic peacefulness that can be found by taking up residence there.
