A Cheesy Display

I signed up to bring the meat and cheese tray to a bridal shower because I planned on buying something easy and ready-made.

The more I thought about the boring cheese selections and ugly plastic containers with black bottoms and see through covers, the more inspired I became to do something different.

I went to Trader Joe’s and picked out a few blocks of different cheeses (including a chocolate cheese), crackers, and salami (super tasty wine salami). Then I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a plastic container to put the cheese in.

Once I got home I cut the cheese into small blocks and put them in the plastic container.

Boring.

Also, I didn’t think I would be able to remember all of the types of cheeses I bought.

So I did some quick thinking.

I cut out the cheese labels from the packaging. I searched the craftermath area of my room and found flower origami paper. I cut the paper into rectangles and taped the cheese labels onto them. I dug out some plastic forks and hot glued the cheese labels onto the fork handles. Then I hot glued the bottoms of the forks onto the plastic container I bought. Ta da! I quickly made a cheesy display that helped everyone enjoy their snacking to the fullest.
