Make an Elevated Feeding Bowl for the Cat

If your cat or small dog needs a feeding bowl that is elevated from the ground, you can make one yourself. I used two small Japanese rice bowls. I think I bought mine a few years ago at a Daiso store in Northern California, but you can get them at different Asian markets and probably even stores like Target. The only other supply I needed was DAP All-Purpose Adhesive Sealant (often used as aquarium sealant). I applied the DAP adhesive onto the bottom of one bowl. Then, I attached the bottom of the other bowl. I held it tight together for about five minutes. Before filling the bowl with cat food, I let the adhesive set for 24 hours. By the next morning, it was ready. Mayu has been using it ever since.
