Creating A Base For A Hummingbird Feeder Stand

Some days the dirt in my backyard is overwhelming. It is filled with rocks and isn’t great for planting. One day it occurred to me that I should try repurposing some of the dirt. I asked myself, how else can I use this stuff?

Here is one idea. Use the dirt to create a base for a hummingbird feeder stand.

Lowe’s had large pots on sale. I bought two.

I covered the dirt with red lava rocks from Lowe’s.

It won’t be long before the hummingbirds make their way.
